Abstract
Piál arteriovenous malformation (AVM) are in terms of indication for the treatment of relatively heterogeneous group. From a surgical point of their classic five-point division filed Spetzler Martin, then more recently with Spetzler Ponce classification modified and simplified to three steps.
This adjustment was made with regard to a number of works dealing with surgical treatment of AVM.
