Abstract
The study offers a new interpretation of iconographic program sculpture of St. Caietan of Thiene on the Charles Bridge in Prague from Ferdinand Maxmilian Brokoff from 1710.
The starting point for a new and deeper interpretation became the identification of selected motifs and recognition of their relationship with inscriptions preserved not only on the work, but also on the engraving reproducing the form of a sculpture by Augustin Neuräutter. Personality of St.
Caietan of Thiene and the order Theatines, there are in fact seen as successors of the apostles, who were just as they control the Providence of God.
