Abstract

Authors of this monography explore the ancient concept of philia and its political relevance. Their focus is on the usage of the proverb koina ta ton philon, "for frients, all is shared" in the context of Greek literature and on the way it is reflected in the workd of Plato, Aristotle and other classical authors.
