Abstract
The book deals with the series of photographs illustrating the second exile of E. Beneš, the second President of the Czechoslovak Republic and his activities before and during WWII, in the years 1938-1945.
Conceptually, the book forms a one-collection and selective edition of photographic archival materials arranged chronologically. The edition of reproductions presents a set of 99 full and authentic photographs as black-and-white positives.This book begins with a big introductory study by co-authors Jan Kuklík and Jan Němeček deals about Beneš's foreign and internal policy in exile, followed by an editorial introduction by Jan Bílek and notes of Erik Maršoun who selected the photographs inclusive extensive English resume.
