The book contains a total of nineteen didactically ordered chapters, detailing a survey on hip arthroscopy. In the first part of the book predominate general topics.
The introductory chapter is devoted to the history and evolution of hip arthroscopy abroad and in the Czech Republic, her follow each chapter devoted to a detailed method of clinical examination and imaging methods hip joint. Then there are crucial chapters focusing on arthroscopic hip anatomy, the tool equipment, indications for arthroscopy and differential diagnosis of hip pain.
In the second part of the book we present mainly practical topics. First are described in great detail two basic techniques beginning hip arthroscopy approach primarily from the central or peripheral compartment of the hip joint.
The following chapters are devoted to femoroacetabular impingement syndrome and many other most common intraarticular and periarticular pathologies including arthroscopic and endoscopic therapy of them. Our book ended a chapter devoted to rehabilitation of femoroacetabular impingement syndrome.
