Abstrakt
The collective monographs offers a well-ballanced picture of the popular culture and subcultures of Czech era of post-pocialism. The analysis focuses on continuities and discontinuities of the post-soocialism transformation, on the notion of the other both in popular culture and subcultures, and on sets of values and beliefs under transitory circumstances.
The collective monograph offers much subtler scale of transition processes within the sphere of culture than the traditional assumption of modification and adaptation.
