Abstract
The author of the report reflects her teaching experience of short-term teaching in the Czech language and culture centre of Baku Slavic University in autumn 2016 that was undertaken thanks to the government programme for the support of the Czech cultural heritage abroad. Czech language is at the Baku Slavic University studied by 50 students in this academic year in their bachelor programme.
Since 2010, the Czech is also taught in the local branch of the Moscow State University (MGU) in Baku.
