Abstract
The paper deals withthe compatibility of the concepts of "Prague German literature", as it mainly Eduard Goldstücker has sanctioned at the conferences in Liblice, and "Prague Circle" (or rather: the 'Prague circles') by Max Brod. It is proved the incompatibility of the two concepts and the larger historical appropriateness of Brod's model.
Therefore one has to criticize the research that too often thoughtless integrated Brod's "Prague circle(s)" into the talk of "Prague German literature" and has thus made this model the (false) guiding model.
