Abstract

Integration of children with diabetes in primary school is crucial for the perception of disability by the child. The child has not a mental or motor problem, but diabetes by measurements, applications of insulin (entering the physical integrity of a child), need of regular meals and the risk of acute complications alternates the integration into the school community.

Here is a list of procedures for teachers to integrate children with diabetes and description of risk situations and their solutions.
