Abstract

Acute conditions in urology characterize as situations requiring urgent diagnosis and treatment. Unnecessary delays and failure to provide adequate care, can lead to significant deterioration or the permanent consequences or even death of the patient.

At present with acute situations urological character in routine practice meets almost every clinician. There are many reasons.

Among the most significant one hand, the increasing ages and also expanding the possibilities of medical care, which is often necessary to use just for seniors. The obvious reason is also the growing incidence of virtually all already very common urological diseases, namely urological malignancies (cancer of the bladder, prostate and kidney).

For acute conditions in urology it is very important that from the outset was to assess and manage the situation adequately, which emphasizes the good cooperation practitioner, physician ambulance or emergency, internist, radiologist, surgeon and urologist.
