The Book Collections of the Churches in Kutná Hora in Late Middle Ages (On the Basis of Inventory Books used by the Church Councils)

Abstract

This study examines the registers of liturgical books which were in possession of the churches in Kutná Hora. The text of these registers survived in town books, church accounts or separately.

The study gives survey of types of books possessed by church councils. It collects the accounts of these books stories and detects which books named in 15th century sources survived till yet.
