Abstract

The article studies the involvement of Prague citizens in the administration and their method for filling seats on consistory. Beginning in 1497, the appointment of consistory members was entrusted to Prague citizens.

Their role annulled the exemplary punishment of Prague for the rebellion against king Ferdinand in 1547.
