Winter diet of piscivorous Great Cormorant (Phalacrocorax carbo) in areas of conflict

Abstract

The Great cormorant is the most important avian piscivorous predator in Europe. We analyzed cormorant diet for the whole winter.

We discovered that the size of cormorant prey increases during winter.
