Abstract

The chapter of the comparative and interdisciplinary monography on the conceptualizations of Soul, is dedicated to the Czech concept DUŠE from the ethnolinguistic perspective. Analyzing linguistic data (polysemy, phrazeology etc.) and sketches the images of DUŠE in the canonic texts of the Czech culture (Grandmother by B.

Němcová and Bunch of flowers by K. J.

Erben), it tries to show conceptual profiles of the concept DUŠE. It analyzes the concept DUŠE as an important value of the Czech image of the world.
