Abstract
The text is an afterword to the anthology of Finnish short stories named Lesní lišky a další znepokojivé příběhy (Forest Foxes and Other Disturbing Stories). It deals with the phenomenon of the Finnish contemporary genre, fantasy fiction called "Finnish Weird" (suomikumma), in the context of Finnish literature in general and in connection with related genres.
It presents the most important authors of this genre, especially writers included in the anthology.
