Abstract

The paper outlines the progress and results of basic research in the scope of the project Music as a significant means of cultivation of speech of preschool children, supported by grant GAUK No. 934214. This part of the research is focused on description of the behaviour of children with atypical language development during some music activities in nursery schools in the school year 2013/14.

The results of field research confirmed most of the hypotheses and empower the author to express certain recommendations for pedagogical practices.
