Abstract
Thirty five studies (originally published 1974-2014) adress areas of (1) general issues concerning text and communication, (2) translation, (3) typical features of selected genres, (4) problems of adaptations, esp. in connection with an implicit reader, (5) development of stylistics, (4) texts written by Czech deaf and their communication in Czech sign language.
