Abstract

The monograph explores the developmental aspects of contemporary human movement in the surrounding environment. Refers to basics movement terrestrial vertebrates 360 million years before the land colonized planet.

The book is based on a series of studies and qualifications objectification achievable contains relevant literature in the fields of kinesiology, physiotherapy, palaeontology anthropology, biology, neurology and sports. Deliberately it not mentioned the psychological aspect, which would disproportionately expanded dimension of the work.

Principles phylogeny of vertebrate locomotion affects our daily lives. This publication should tease to initiate discussions in this area and as a resource for students and sports science, physiotherapy and anthropology.

The book seeks to highlight some of the general principles of the human locomotion and can thus become a source of inspiration for trainers and sportsmen, but also for other interested members of the general public.
