Week of Applied Physics: A journey to Hamburg (to lasers and accelerators in DESY) and Garching (to fusion device ASDEX)

Abstract

A Week of Applied Physics (Czech abbreviation is TSAF) is an activity held by Faculty of Mathematics and Physics of Charles University in Prague. It is for gifted high school pupils insterested in Physics.

Participants of this activity visited two major centers of basic and applied physics. The article informs about the course of the action.

This activity can be very strong motivation motor for study of physics.
