Syntactic Structure of Complex Predicates and its Description in the Valency Lexicon

Abstract

This chapter describes the syntactic structure of Czech complex predicates with light verbs in active voice. Four types of Czech complex predicates are distinguished.

Their rules based description and representation in the valency lexicon are proposed.
