Monitoring poprodní adaptation of glucose homeostasis is according to current recommendations depend on the more or less frequent invasive blood glucose. This intermittent investigation should according to current knowledge capture newborns with asymptomatic hypoglycemia and prevent the development of acute symptoms or cause long-term consequences.
