The colloquial Czech on the stage

Abstract

The speech on the stage has to respect requirements given by complexity of the dramatic performance including the general expectancy that all components of the structure are intentional used. The spectators' demands to understand dialogs without any bothers and right choice of suitable speech forms are chiefly important.

The paper discusses both the possibilities and barriers in usage the sound structure in performance of a dramatic text, after all in dialogs based on the sub-standard level of the contemporary Czech. The specific conditions given by the stratification of Czech and consequences in the speech culture are taken into consideration.
