Abstract
Author in the initial study for the new edition book Garden of colour a mallow Serbian writer Branko Ćopić (1915 - 1984) maps for his extensive prosaic work, and thinks about art of story telling which gained the extraordinary popularity among readers reading Yugoslavia. The author explains the circumstances and inspiration for stories of his nativeland.
Writer immortalized the figures pitoresc in his childhood and through which he masterfully used the unique magic of unique techniques folk tale, time to revive stories with deep feeling and a certain degree of nostalgia.
