Abstract
The handbook is intended for everybody who is interested in taking the Czech Language Certificate Exam, level B2 (CCE-B2), which is organized by the Institute of Language and Preparatory Studies (ILPS) of the Charles University in Prague. It was designed not only for teachers, who want to prepare their students for the exam, but also for applicants, that have already achieved this language level and want to get familiar with the form of the exam.
The reader will find examples of all tasks, provided with instructions how to deal with them, and also methodical recommendation how to practice the tested communication skills. The handbook contains three complete sample exams, including the key and transcripts of listening tasks, which can be found on the CD that is part of the book.
