Abstract
The teaching of Czech as a Foreign Language for Academic Purposes has become more important as the numbers of foreign students has increased over the last decade. This paper reports on ongoing research into written academic genres produced by non-native speakers attending universities in order to specify the characteristic feature of academic language and identify students' difβiculties with academic writing.
