Do the German chansons exist? On the repertory of German songs (c. 1450-1470) in the Bohemian sources

Abstrakt

The research on the polyphonic German songs does not answer sufficiently questions on the relationship of this genre and the 15th century French chanson. The compositions preserved in the Bohemian sources inspire some thoughts on close ties of the both musical genres in Central Europe.
