Abstract
Femoroacetabular impingement syndrome is a very common hip pathology that is responsible for hip pain in patients under 40 years of age. Anatomic changes in hip joint cause labral tears and cartilage dysfunction, both of these conditions cause severe hip pain and often lead to hip arthritis.
This syndrome is very common in the population, but very often misdiagnosed and undertreated. The main treatment option is surgical treatment; conservative treatment alone is not successful.
There are many surgical procedures that may be chosen according to the degree of hip pathology. In this article we present treatment options for femoroacetabular impingement syndrome and our results.
Recently one of the main treatment options is hip arthroscopy MINUS SIGN we have very good experience and results with this method.
