Abstract
The Institute of Czech Studies (Faculty of Arts, Charles University) held between 16th and 20th August 2016 the VIII. International Symposium on Czech as a foreign language: "Czech as an European and World Language?" There were 52 active participants, 29 from the Czech Republic and 23 from abroad.
