Reflection on chances and limits of religious plurality in a society

Publication at Protestant Theological Faculty |
2016

Abstract

The text reflects the chances and limits of a peaceful coexistence of various religions in one state. It strives to show that the pragmatic solution which was offered by Rawls's concept of "overlapping consensus" is not sufficient.

The text claims that the plurality is possible only when the different religious and secular attitudes accept the its possibility as an inherent part of the understanding of truth.
