Abstract

The case describes a six-year boy, who was hospitalized at the paediatric ward for rash progression on the skin. At first the patient was treated by his general practitioner, who recommended for the susp. allergic reaction therapy of antihistamines.

Subsequently, the same day, he was admitted to the ICU paediatric ward for large, reddish rash on the skin of the body with significant pain. The clinical picture has also shown besides skin lesions a dominant dense, greenish nasal secretion.

The aim of this case report is to highlight the acute, serious infectious skin disease with a relatively rapid improvement in the overall condition of the patient at the early initiation of appropriate therapy.
