Abstract

Alzheimer's disease belongs among neurodegenerative disorders, presenting by clinical picture of dementia. The basis of the dementi ais specific neurodegenerative proces.

Contemporary we don't know the cause of Alzheimer's disease, but we know the series of the neuropathological chains with participation on the neurodegeneartion. First of all, i tis the production and depositon of AB.

Very toxically act the oligomers of AB, which damage the synapses, mitochondrias and other organells. Another protein degen erated in Alzheimer's disease is intracellular Tau protein, which in degenerated form consist the neurofibrilar tangles, and the neurons damaged of this style are destroyed.

Further on attend to the series of neurotrophic factors and so on. There si the increasing of central acetylcholinergic transmision and in the later stages of disease there attend to the excitoxity - excessive release of excitotary amino acids, and axessive stimulation of the NMDA glutamatergic receptors.

There exists a number of genetic risk factors. Contemporary there are investigated the circumstances among particular pathogenetic parts of Alzheimer's disease.
