Abstract
The MATRICS cognitive battery is relatively brief tool for assessment of key cognitive domains relevant to schizophrenia. Our team has adapted original version of MATRICS and thus Czech version is now available.
Sample of 140 patients was evaluated with MATRICS battery and data statistically analyzed. Results show presence of cognitive deficits across all evaluated cognitive do-mains.
Deficits are present after first episode of the disease and stable in time, i.e. duration of the disease doesn't affect cognitive performance in MATRICS battery
