Chapter in monograph reflects the Rawl attitude of personal faith in Jesus Christ and of the Christian theology. There are presented Rawls various stages of life (Christian background of his family, study stay in Princeton 1941-1942, influences of neo-orthodox theology - Barth, Bultmann, Brunner, shaking Rawls belief in the war and the reasons for falling away of the faith) as well as possible influence of theological thinking in work A Theory of Justice .
