The cause of dry eye are pathological changes leading to instability of the tear filtru.Subjektivně the patient feels like cutting and burning eyes. Treatment is individual, optimally targeted by etiology, but usually symptomatic.
Always involves the application of artificial tears and of different composition in various forms.
