Abstract
The article deals with the attitude of Czech Jews living in Bohemia and Moravia to the Great War expressed in the preserved liturgical texts. This contribution focuses especially on the preaching which naturally provides more space for expressing own thoughts and opinions.
Some liturgical texts from other countries (Germany, GB, USA) are depicted as well.
