Radicalization of the Society as a Source of Risky and Pathological Forms of Citizens' Voluntary Participation in the Security Sector

Abstract

The article focuses on the interaction between forms of voluntary citizen roles and activities in security provision that can be found in the Czech Republic and ongoing radicalization in the Czech society. The article frames a research field that will gain importance with further governmental support to volunteering in the security sector, as this sphere of volunteering always attracts, inter alia, the group of persons with inclination to radical views, extremism, and violence.
