The case report is about male with incidental detection of lupus anticoagulant antibody and venous thrombosis after surgery. Deep vein thrombosis developed shortly after cessation of pharmacological thromboprophylaxis.
Warfarin therapy was difficult managed and was associated with hair loss and extension of thrombosis. So that rivaroxaban was introduced and during this therapy thrombotic veins became patent.
Long-term anticoagulation is indicated in this setting.
