Dear Editor, In my editorial "Towards a new edition of morphological nomenclature", published in your journal (Rev Arg de Clin Anat; 2016; 8 (2): 68- 69), I have summarized the current situation of the anatomical, histological and embryological nomenclatures and emphasized the role of Federative International Programme for Anatomical Terminology (FIPAT). To present FIPAT and its mission I have used several sentences and information from FIPAT documents and have not unfortunately stated the sources.
This information have also appeared publicly before in Plexus (Newsletter of International Federation of Associations of Anatomists), January 2016 (p.20-30), in the contribution "Communicating Anatomy - enhancing the value of an official terminology" written by John Fraher, chair of FIPAT, containing general information about FIPAT policy and work, partially based on results of FIPAT meeting in Istanbul held in September 2015, which I also attended as a member of FIPAT. Although I have acknowledged the support and help of John Fraher and Pierre Sprumont in my editorial, I have not referred to John Fraher's contribution to Plexus.
I would like to express my excuse for omitting to state this source in my editorial.
