Abstract
The article gives an overview on angelology and demonology in the interpretation of two important theologians of the 20th century, Protestant Karl Barth (1886-1968) and Catholic Hans Urs von Balthasar (1905-1988). Both agree that the demonic powers have an ability to attack men.
