Abstract

The aim of this paper is to show the difference between economic growth, economic development and sustainability. The researcher pays attention to development and its importance in new world economic order.

Additionally, it is important to understand the meaning of development and growth. We are humans are changing the economy by demanding more, acting more ethical and using the resources efficiently.

The researcher identified the core values of development; identified major aspects in order to achieve sustainable economic growth, and sets sustainable economic growth strategy that has three levels. By taking all these features, the researcher underlines that it is important to have goals and means of development, actually setting the strategic plan, which can ease the process of development.

Article concentrates on emerging markets and their importance for the future sustainable economic development. Paper concludes that sustainable development is a better notion than economic growth and development.
