Lahav, we understand that the problems in the region are not all of black and white character. The whole book is divided into four sections.
First part, named Conflict briefly describes everyday life in Israel and Palestine. It is a description of a particularly sad and lenient reality while criticising domestic conditions.
If we want to briefly characterize the relationship on both sides, and the reason why the Middle East is still waiting for peace, we should go along the dictum of former Foreign Minister Aba Eban: "The Palestinians never wasted an opportunity to miss an opportunity for peace."
