Research on the flood sediments of Sabaloka in central Sudan

Abstract

Flood activity on the 6th Nile cataract is still unaffected by human activity. Study of local flood sedimentation represents the last opportunity to investigate sedimentary processes in the Nile watershed (down the confluence of the White and Blue Niles).
