Publication at Catholic Theological Faculty |
2016

Abstract

A sixth Sunday after Three King's Day with gospel pericope on mustard seed (Mt 13, 31-35) It was a regular occassion to preach on Church issues, on little sin, on children and their spiritual growth, or on social issues. Especially Franciscans and Minorites were primarly dealing with problems of poverty and fortune in their preachings.

This contribution is based on two collections of preachings, the first one from Franciscan Damascen Marek is so called "Triple Bread from Heaven" from 1728 and the second homiletical collection from years 1741-43 from Minorit Michael Pelischotti is called "Trinitas dominicalis".
