The Role of Cracow Academic Milieu in the Relations of Czech and Polish Scholars of the Late 19th and Early 20th Century

Abstrakt
The article attempts to show the cooperation of the Cracow scholars with the Czech scholars on the background of political and cultural situation (especially the Slavophil moods) and the institutional coverage of this cooperation. It shows the era of Galician autonomy in the Habsburg Empire (1867-1918) as the favourable time for the mutual contacts.
