Abstract

This paper introduces the results of TIP FR-TI1-113 project. It deals especially with tests of sandwich structures of real rail vehicles.

The results of these tests were compared with results of a numeric simulation. The attention of the part of the paper will also be paid to the questions arising during the practical use of EN 15227.
