Abstract
The incidence of Hodgkin's lymphoma is 2.5 cases/100 000 inhabitants per year in the Czech Republic and it occurs more frequently in males compared to females-1.3 : 1. No causal etiopathogenetic factor responsible for Hodgkin's lymphoma has been identified so far.
This review summarizes risk factors that are associated with the occurrence of Hodgkin's lymphoma. The significance of these factors and the way they affect the incidence of Hodgkin's lymphoma remains under investigation.
