On the identity of Sternosternus grouvellei Guillebeau, 1894 (Coleoptera: Hydrophilidae, Phalacridae)

Abstract

The genus Sternosternus is confirmed to belong to the family Hydrophilidae (Coleoptera) and synonymized with Dactylosternum. Sternosternus grouvellei is found to be senior subjective synonym of Dactylosternum seriatum
