Abstract

Till the beginning of the 21st century, people coming to hospitals used to be called patients (patior = to suffer). Because of the progress of modern medicine and especially broad availability of genetic tests provided by private companies, more and more persons coming to the hospitals are persons now healthy, asking some preventive treatment based on data taken from these tests.
