Abstract

The study focuses on the motives of Jan Hus and Hussitism in the literature of the Czech Romanticism. It deals with the interpretations that appear in the texts by František Ladislav Čelakovský, Václav Kliment Klicpera, Karel Sabina, Karel Hynek Mácha, Jan Erazim Vocel and Josef Kajetán Tyl.
