Abstract

Introduction of high resolution computed tomography (HRCT) is considered a crucial factor of progress in the diagnosis of interstitial lung diseases. For many radiologists is an ongoing challenge.

The subject of this review is the basic principles of HRCT findings interpertation, anatomy of secondary pulmonary lobule and pulmonary interstitium and differential diagnosis of processes with predominant nodular pattern.
